Where It Began
Built in 1958 as the Long Valley Post Office, the red-brick building at 24 Schooley’s Mountain Road has long been a cornerstone of community connection. After serving as a local bank and the Washington Township Tax Assessor’s Office, the structure sat vacant until Dave and Geralyn Hickey revitalized it in 2016 as The Coffee Potter.

The Founders
The Hickeys imagined more than a coffee shop; they built a sanctuary centered on the simple promise that All Are Welcome. Today, that legacy of genuine relationship continues as we repurpose the historic bank window to serve up thoughtfully brewed cups and meaningful moments to our neighbors.
